Cleanse Gemstones Regularly
To maintain their effectiveness, therapeutic gemstones require regular care. As these gems help us release energetic impurities, some energies cling to the gems’ surfaces, inhibiting their ability to work at peak capacity. A simple energetic cleansing will clear these energies and restore the gems to their naturally vibrant state. You can use any of the following methods to cleanse your gemstones:

Plant Rejuvenation: 2 – 3 times a week, place the gems at the base of a healthy houseplant. Alternatively, trees, plants, and flowers located in shaded outdoor areas are also suitable.

Salt Bed: 2 – 3 times a week, in a bowl filled with a half-inch of table salt, lay the gems gently on top of the salt for at least an hour or overnight.

Water Rinse: Rinse the gems daily with room-temperature water for the first two weeks, then 2 – 3 times a week thereafter. Mild hand soap can be used to remove excess dirt, oils, or lotions.
