Ruby Dream

The Ruby Dream necklace is a perfect vehicle for experiencing the effects of Ruby. The red ray flows strongly through Ruby. The force of its flow is stronger than that of any other color ray through its corresponding gemstone. For this reason, Ruby is the only color ray gemstone that should not be worn as a solid necklace without proper preparation. Wearing a solid Ruby necklace can flood you with so much red ray that your physical body and inner aspects could become severely imbalanced. Wearing Ruby in an improperly designed combination necklace can be similarly disruptive.

Before wearing a solid Ruby necklace, it is best to prepare by wearing a maximum of ten carats of Ruby in a properly designed combination necklace, such as Ruby Dream, for at least several months. Ruby Dream’s design is a carefully planned product of research on the needs of the whole individual. Ruby Dream is designed in two lengths: one that falls just below the throat and one that reaches the area of the heart. Roselle and Gold in Ruby Dream

The 14-karat gold clasp included in Ruby Dream does not interfere with the Roselle’s energy. All the Roselles are surrounded by Rubies, which effectively separate the Roselle from the gold's highly incompatible energy.

The best way to experience the therapeutic effects of a Ruby Dream necklace is to wear it around your neck. There the gems will silently work for you as you go about your day. At night while you are sleeping, you can wear the necklace or keep it within three feet of your body to maintain your connection with the gems.  

Time Guidelines

Ruby Dream can be worn continuously. However, it is always wise to be sensitive to your body’s responses. If you start to feel a headache or significant discomfort, take the necklace off for a while. Then allow your body time to adjust to the changes initiated by the gems by wearing them for only an hour or two a day. Gradually increase this time until you can comfortably wear the gems for as long and often as you wish.

Cleanse Ruby Dream Regularly

To maintain their effectiveness, therapeutic gemstones need regular care. As the gems help us release energetic impurities, some of these energies cling to the gems’ surface and inhibit their ability to work at their peak capacity. A simple energetic cleansing will clear these energies and restore the gems to their naturally vibrant state. You can use any of following methods to cleanse your Ruby Dream necklace. Plant Rejuvenation: 2 – 3 times a week, wrap the necklace around the base of a healthy houseplant or lay the necklace in its branches.

Salt Bed: 2 – 3 times a week, lay the gems in a half-inch of salt for at least an hour or overnight. Place a thin natural-fiber cloth between the salt and the gems.

Water Rinse: Rinse the gems 2 – 3 times a week. To restore Quartz’s frosted appearance, wash with mild natural soap.

Sunbath: Every 1 - 2 weeks, lay the gems in sunlight for a maximum of 5 minutes at a time.

Caution: Avoid clay cleansing, which will dull the Ruby’s polish.

Therapeutic Quality Ruby Dream

Ruby Dream necklaces contain Ruby, Quartz, and Roselle (Rose Quartz).

Ruby

Ruby crystals occur naturally in different qualities of color and clarity. The purer these qualities are, the more powerful are Ruby’s effects. Judging therapeutic quality in Ruby requires exceptional care and the consideration of many factors.

Therapeutic quality Ruby is at least somewhat translucent, true red, and free of black inclusions to the naked eye. Non-Ruby inclusions can be identified under a microscope and should be avoided as much as possible, since they restrict Ruby’s effects. Their area of influence is greater than the physical space they occupy; an inclusion affects the Ruby surrounding it in a radius equal to the inclusion’s diameter.

In order for Ruby’s energy to touch and stimulate the heart, it must carry the brightness of true red. Dark, burgundy-colored Ruby has a heavy energy that cannot reach above the lower chakras; the darker the color, the heavier the energy. On the other hand, Ruby that is too light or pinkish in color is immature and lacks the strength required to be therapeutically effective.

The precision of Ruby’s shape is crucial. Because Ruby energy radiates from the bead’s outer surface, poorly shaped rondels or spheres will make Ruby’s energy flow into the aura in an inconsistent manner.

When Ruby is cut into spheres or rondels, they are covered in a red oily polish. This polish should not be rubbed off, because the oil actually helps preserve the integrity of the physical crystal, which is very brittle. Fortunately, Ruby's energetic function is unaffected by this polish.

Quartz

To receive the maximum therapeutic benefits from Quartz, only optical or near-optical quality spheres should be used. Optical-quality Quartz is colorless, clear, and free from flaws to the naked eye. Such flaws include cracks and inclusions, or foreign matter. Near-optical Quartz has very slight flaws in a small portion of the sphere but is otherwise identical to optical quality. If a Quartz sphere has anything more than very slight flaws, its ability to balance your physical, emotional, and mental bodies will be significantly inhibited.

Therapeutic Quartz also has no hint of yellow, gray, brown, or smoky coloration. Color contamination and internal flaws greatly limit the spheres’ inflow and outflow of energy.

People who wear lower-quality Quartz may still feel some effects, since any gemstone will influence an individual's energetic field. However, only the highest quality Quartz necklace—one with deeply frosted, optical or near-optical quality spheres and precisely cut drill holes—will spark the true changes and transformations one seeks from this gemstone. Optical-quality Quartz is extremely rare. Yet it is well worth seeking out, since a necklace made of such Quartz radiates an incomparable energy.

Roselle (Rose Quartz)

Therapeutic-quality Roselle is translucent but not to the point of being optical in quality. It is neither cloudy nor clear. Its consistency and color resemble a rose mist that permeates the entire sphere. Very minor inclusions within Roselle are part of its nature and do not diminish its therapeutic effects. However, any dullness, cloudiness, uncharacteristic color, dark inclusions, surface fissures, gouges, or poor drill holes hamper Roselle’s effectiveness. Large drill holes diminish the strength of Roselle’s radiance. Smaller drill holes allow Roselle’s energy to penetrate the aura more quickly.

Non-dyed vs. Dyed Roselle: Only natural, fine pink, gem-quality Roselle should be used therapeutically. Roselle is by nature a delicate light pink. To the untrained eye, this natural pink color may appear somewhat pale, especially when compared to dyed Roselle. Nearly all the Roselle spheres available today have been dyed in an attempt to make them look like gem-quality Roselle. Natural Roselle of a fine pink color is rare.

Although dye might make the Roselle appear higher in quality, it is a harmful irritant, which inhibits Roselle’s action. Natural Roselle calms and soothes the emotions; the soothing, massaging motion of its energy allows hidden feelings to emerge. Dyed Roselle, on the other hand, expresses an irritating energy. This energy can be so strong that, when worn, dyed Roselle can make you feel like crying or expressing anger. You may think that the Roselle is helping you to release suppressed emotions. On the contrary, the interaction of the dye with the Roselle energy creates an irritation that causes unnecessary upset. Dyed Roselle can also place stress on the chakras, which will brace themselves in self-protection against the energy of the dyed Roselle.

To guarantee that a Roselle necklace is free of dye, it must be examined under a microscope.

Therapeutic vs. Optical Quality: Optical-quality Roselle has slightly different effects from optimal therapeutic quality Roselle. Optical Roselle’s energy is more abrupt, even harsh. It can tear into the wearer’s energetic fabric, ripping open pockets of suppressed emotion.

For this reason, optical Roselle can be used for short periods when someone has an immediate need to understand his feelings about an issue. This may be the case when someone must make an important decision, or when finding clarity has become difficult because a situation has become emotionally overwhelming. Optical-quality Roselle will cut through the grief, anger, frustration, or other emotion so that the person can examine his true feelings.

Optical Roselle should not be worn for more than one or two days at a time, and often five to 15 minutes are sufficient. It is best applied under the care of a professional gem therapist or a well-trained layperson.
