Solar Light provides the healing benefits of Yellow Sapphire and the yellow ray, though to a milder degree than a solid necklace of Yellow Sapphire. A Solar Light necklace contains Yellow Sapphire rondel crystals and Citrine and frosted Quartz spheres. When combined in this necklace, the Citrine and Quartz serve to support the mission of Yellow Sapphire and facilitate its work. The Quartz in Solar Light amplifies the energy of the Yellow Sapphire. The flawless, Quality 5 Citrine spheres act as translators between the Yellow Sapphire and Quartz, which in effect speak two different languages. Without Citrine, the Quartz would be unable to serve the Yellow Sapphire as effectively. Citrine acts as a bridge between the two other gems, allowing them to work together in harmony.

Wear It Around Your Neck

The best way to experience the therapeutic effects of a Solar Light necklace is to wear it around your neck. There the gems will silently work for you as you go about your day. At night while you are sleeping, you can wear the necklace or keep it within three feet of your body to maintain your connection with the gems. 

Time Guidelines

Solar Light can be worn continuously. However, it is always wise to be sensitive to your body’s responses. If you start to feel a headache or significant discomfort, take the necklace off for a while. Then allow your body time to adjust to the changes initiated by the gems by wearing them for only an hour or two a day. Gradually increase this time until you can comfortably wear the gems for as long and often as you wish.

Care and Cleansing of Solar Light

To cleanse a Solar Light necklace, every few days you are wearing it, wipe it clean with an alcohol pad or cotton ball soaked in rubbing alcohol. Alcohol is preferred over water for cleansing the Yellow Sapphire in Solar Light for several reasons. First, alcohol is more effective for removing body oils and other surface residue. Because of Yellow Sapphire’s work with DNA, such cleansing is important. Second, in the case of Yellow Sapphire, alcohol also works better than water to cleanse the vibratory cloud that surrounds the gemstones after use (this is not the case with other gemstones). Finally, Yellow Sapphire has no affinity with water.

If your Solar Light necklace has been exposed to radiation, whether during an x-ray, a radiation treatment, or air travel, be sure to cleanse with a clay pack before using it again. Learn more about these methods.

You can supplement the above cleansing methods with one of the following:

Plant Rejuvenation: 2 – 3 times a week, wrap the necklace around the base of a healthy houseplant or lay the necklace in its branches.

Salt Bed: 2 – 3 times a week, lay the gems in a half-inch of salt overnight. Place a thin natural-fiber cloth between the salt and the gems.

Therapeutic Quality Solar Light

Yellow Sapphire

The most potent therapeutic Yellow Sapphire is a true canary yellow. Although therapeutic Yellow Sapphire can occur in a range of yellow tints, the color of the gems that comprise a particular necklace should be consistent and perceived as harmonious. Therapeutic Yellow Sapphire looks bright; the brighter it is, the more potent its therapeutic effects will be.

Gemstones can contain a variety of minerals not native to the gemstone that can contaminate the gemstone’s therapeutic effects. In Yellow Sapphire, a muddy color, hints of other colors, white clouds, and black spots are signs of contamination. Avoid Yellow Sapphire that tends toward orange, and absolutely avoid black or brown inclusions.

Gemisphere’s Yellow Sapphire Is Untreated

The vast majority of the Yellow Sapphire on the market today has been treated in various ways to enhance its color and clarity. Gemisphere is researching which treatments, if any, allow Yellow Sapphire to retain its therapeutic benefits. For example, we have learned that certain heat treatments simply mimic the conditions that the gemstones would have experienced had they been left in the Earth thousands of years longer.

For now, all the Yellow Sapphire offered by Gemisphere is completely untreated. However, this untreated Yellow Sapphire is extremely rare. Because of this rarity, if the heat treatments described above prove to allow the gemstones to retain their therapeutic value, we may also decide to offer Yellow Sapphire that has been so treated.

We do know that the common practice of treating the gemstones with beryllium renders them not only non-therapeutic, but potentially harmful to the aura. Therefore, Yellow Sapphire that has been chemically treated or irradiated with beryllium is to be avoided.

Consistency is an important factor in creating a Yellow Sapphire necklace with a potent and harmonious energetic signature. Therefore, to make each necklace, we carefully match rondels for color, clarity, shape, and size. Thus, each Yellow Sapphire necklace is unique, and all are individually priced based on their total carat weight and quality.

For most gemstones, the therapeutic quality categories defined as Quality 1, 2, 3, 4,  etc., suffice to describe the quality of the gems in a particular necklace. However, for a handful of gemstones, gradients of quality exist within each therapeutic quality category. Yellow Sapphire is one of these gemstones. This means that a particular Yellow Sapphire necklace may be somewhat higher or lower in quality than the other necklaces in the same category. These variations are reflected in the price per carat of each necklace.
