Treatment for Muscle Fatigue or Injury

To aid recovery from muscle fatigue, injury, or weakness, you can either wear Ruby Moon around your neck or place it on the affected area. The gems will provide the area with energetic strength. Leave the necklace in place for 20 to 40 minutes. As healing occurs, you can leave it in place for longer periods.

Time Guidelines

Ruby Moon can be worn continuously. However, you may wish to start out slowly, especially if you are sensitive or have significant emotional congestion. If so, try wearing the necklace for short periods and gradually increasing the time as your body adjusts to the changes initiated by the gems. As always, it is wise to be sensitive to your body’s responses. If you start to feel a headache or significant discomfort, take the necklace off for a while. Cleanse Ruby Moon Regularly

To maintain their effectiveness, therapeutic gemstones need regular care. Plant Rejuvenation: Every day of wear, wrap the necklace around the base of a healthy houseplant or lay the necklace in its branches.

Salt Bed: Every day of wear, lay the gems in a half-inch of salt for at least an hour or overnight. Place a thin natural-fiber cloth between the salt and the gems.

Water Rinse: Every day of wear, rinse the gems in alternating cool and warm water. Avoid using hot or cold water. 

Special Notes: Avoid clay cleansing, which will dull the Ruby’s polish. Also avoid cleansing Ruby Moon in sunlight, because the sun’s dehydrating energy can energetically “evaporate” the energy that Moonstone emits and that collects around the gems. However, wearing Moonstone in the sun will do it no harm, since your aura will naturally protect the gems from the sun’s drying effect.

Therapeutic Quality Ruby Moon

Ruby

Ruby Moon necklaces contain extremely rare, untreated, unheated Ruby rondels. This Ruby possesses the clarity and true red color that make this gem powerfully therapeutic. It expresses exceptionally pure Ruby and red ray energy. 

Ruby crystals occur naturally in different qualities of color and clarity. The purer these qualities are, the more powerful are Ruby’s effects. Judging therapeutic quality in Ruby requires exceptional care and the consideration of many factors.

Therapeutic quality Ruby is at least somewhat translucent, true red, and free of black inclusions to the naked eye. Non-Ruby inclusions can be identified under a microscope and should be avoided as much as possible, since they restrict Ruby’s effects. Their area of influence is greater than the physical space they occupy; an inclusion affects the Ruby surrounding it in a radius equal to the inclusion’s diameter.

In order for Ruby’s energy to touch and stimulate the heart, it must carry the brightness of true red. Dark, burgundy-colored Ruby has a heavy energy that cannot reach above the lower chakras; the darker the color, the heavier the energy. On the other hand, Ruby that is too light or pinkish in color is immature and lacks the strength required to be therapeutically effective.

The precision of Ruby’s shape is crucial. Because Ruby energy radiates from the bead’s outer surface, poorly shaped rondels or spheres will make Ruby’s energy flow into the aura in an inconsistent manner.

When Ruby is cut into spheres or rondels, they are covered in a red oily polish. This polish should not be rubbed off, because the oil actually helps preserve the integrity of the physical crystal, which is very brittle. Fortunately, Ruby's energetic function is unaffected by this polish.

White Flash Moonstone

Therapeutic-quality Moonstone is milky-white and can vary in its degree of translucency. Therapeutic Moonstone displays an optical quality called adularescence—that is, a shimmery flash of white or, in very rare cases, blue. Almost every bead in a therapeutic Moonstone necklace should have a distinct flash. The more surface area the flash covers, the more potent the gem is. For the best view of its flash, hold your Moonstone in sunlight.

Cracks and inclusions hinder Moonstone’s effectiveness and should be either absent or very minimal. Black or other colored opaque spots void Moonstone’s energy in an area many times the size of the spot itself. A necklace with many spots might even be harmful to the wearer’s supraphysical fabric.
