The Inner Quest necklace provides the maximum possible benefits from the least amount of Blue Sapphire. Although its effects on the mind are milder than Lavender Fire's, it clears significant blockages to the blue ray. Inner Quest contains 67 Lavender crystal spheres, 28 frosted Quartz spheres, six Blue Sapphires, and a 14-karat gold clasp.

The design of Inner Quest is more complex than that of most other therapeutic gemstone combinations. Its design mirrors the complexity of the mind. Similarly designed necklaces containing fewer than six Sapphires would not have nearly the same effects, nor would necklaces containing six Sapphires but designed differently.

All the gemstone components, numbers, and sequences in Inner Quest support the work of Blue Sapphire, which has a natural affinity for the mind. They help move Sapphire energy in the most efficient way possible from your physical body, where the necklace is worn, to your mind, where the necklace has its greatest effects. Though considerably gentler, the effects of Inner Quest on your mind, emotions, and body generally parallel those of Lavender Fire and a solid necklace of Blue Sapphire. Because of its comparatively large amount of Lavender, Inner Quest opens energy flows in your physical head that have been clogged, suppressed, or closed. Each Sapphire rondel in Inner Quest is surrounded by Quartz. As in Lavender Fire, Quartz reflects and amplifies the Sapphires’ energy. However, because Inner Quest contains a much smaller amount of Sapphire, the Sapphire energy cannot reach as deeply into the fabric of your being.

It is the nature of Inner Quest to support the movement of your attention beyond the mind. Time Guidelines

Inner Quest can be worn continuously. However, it is always wise to be sensitive to your body’s responses. If you start to feel a headache or significant discomfort, take the necklace off for a while. Then allow your body time to adjust to the changes initiated by the gems by wearing them for only an hour or two a day. Gradually increase this time until you can comfortably wear the gems for as long and often as you wish.

Cleanse Inner Quest Regularly

To maintain their effectiveness, therapeutic gemstones need regular care. As the gems help us release energetic impurities, some of these energies cling to the gems’ surface and inhibit their ability to work at their peak capacity. A simple energetic cleansing will clear these energies and restore the gems to their naturally vibrant state. You can use any of following methods to cleanse your Inner Quest necklace. Plant Rejuvenation: 2 – 3 times a week, wrap the necklace around the base of a healthy houseplant or lay the necklace in its branches.

Salt Bed: 2 – 3 times a week, lay the gems in a half-inch of salt for at least an hour or overnight.

Water Rinse: Rinse the gems 2 – 3 times a week. To restore Quartz’s frosted appearance,
 wash with mild natural soap.

Sunbath: Every 1 - 2 weeks, lay the gems in sunlight for a maximum of 20 minutes at a time.

Clay Cleanse: For deeper cleansing, occasionally perform a bentonite clay bath or pack.

Therapeutic Quality Inner Quest

Inner Quest contains therapeutic quality Blue Sapphire, Lavender, and Quartz.

Blue Sapphire

Not all Blue Sapphire is pure enough to emanate the energy required to produce Blue Sapphire's therapeutic effects. Blue Sapphire that is itself filled with flaws, contaminants, and impurities cannot be expected to clear impurities from the mind and head.

Four primary factors determine Blue Sapphire quality: color, clarity, consistency, and a trait called gem candescence.

An accurate assessment of Blue Sapphire’s color and clarity requires a microscope. Ideal Sapphire is a rich, true blue—neither too pale nor too indigo. Only a microscope, which allows you to see how light passes through the gemstone, can reveal Blue Sapphire's true color. A microscope also lets you see whether the gem contains even the slightest black tinge. This is essential, because any black coloration is a severe contaminant that nullifies all of Blue Sapphire's effects. Even a wisp of black renders Blue Sapphire non-therapeutic.

The greater its clarity, the more energy a Blue Sapphire can radiate. Common inclusions found in Blue Sapphire are impurities, such as rock matrix, white clouds, and a toxic yellow discoloration that renders the Sapphire non-therapeutic.

Consistency is also an important element in a therapeutic Blue Sapphire necklace. Inconsistency in the color, clarity, or size of spheres within a necklace creates a distraction, which the Blue Sapphire energy must first overcome before it can do its work. This is one reason why most Blue Sapphire necklaces are not therapeutic or are much less therapeutic than their other quality parameters might indicate.

Gem candescence is an optical quality possessed by some Blue Sapphire. A bead displaying gem candescence looks like a drop of liquid Blue Sapphire. In the Sapphire in which it is found, gem candescence is an intense outpouring of the blue ray, making the Sapphire look like its own source of pure blue light. Its liquid appearance is an energetic quality that allows the Sapphire energy to access the mind instantly. All other factors being equal, gem-candescent Blue Sapphire is many times more powerful than Blue Sapphire without gem candescence.

Lavender

The Lavender gemstone is a derivative of colorless Quartz. Yet, unlike Quartz, the finest therapeutic Lavender is not optical in quality. Rather, it contains three elements, all of which are present in the same sphere: lavender color, translucency, and patches of cloudy white or light lavender color. Each therapeutic Lavender sphere exhibits a unique combination of the three essential elements. They work together to fulfill Lavender’s mission and produce its effects.

Lavender Color: The lavender color defines the Lavender gemstone’s mission. The energy of the color lavender has an affinity with the higher levels of our mental, emotional, and even physical bodies. When each of these bodies is stimulated with the energy of lavender, the body awakens to its relationship with the next highest body, inspiring alignment and cooperation among them all.

Translucency: The translucency in the gemstone clears the path for Lavender’s energy to do its work. Without translucency, Lavender’s work slows down drastically. Although non-translucent Lavender can generate the necessary changes, its path through the physical and subtle bodies is greatly hindered.

Cloudy Patches: The patches of cloudy white or light lavender color act as regulatory components by encouraging alignment to unfold in a balanced way. Without these patches, Lavender promotes alignment without attending to the need for change to occur in a balanced, gradual fashion. The cloudy aspect also helps the physical body to regain its balance more swiftly after taking a step toward greater alignment.

Optical-quality Lavender, which is completely translucent and contains no cloudy white or light lavender patches, will bring about alignment at the greatest possible speed. In the hands of an experienced gem therapist who knows how and when to use such a strong force, it is an invaluable tool. However, to prevent the physical body from reacting negatively to such a forced alignment, optical Lavender should be worn only for very short periods.

The finest quality Lavender is free of contaminants. Black flecks, a brown or green tinge, or any foreign matter that muddies the lavender color lowers the quality of Lavender’s energy and diminishes its therapeutic effects. The energy of such Lavender cannot reach into the higher vibratory levels of the wearer’s being. While small splashes or pockets of purple coloring enhance Lavender’s effects, large or numerous dark purple splashes or any coloring that makes the sphere look like Amethyst are contaminants. Such spheres do not support Lavender’s mission. The finest therapeutic quality Lavender is extremely rare.

Quartz

To receive the maximum therapeutic benefits from Quartz, only optical or near-optical quality spheres should be used. Optical-quality Quartz is colorless, clear, and free from flaws to the naked eye. Such flaws include cracks and inclusions, or foreign matter. Near-optical Quartz has very slight flaws in a small portion of the sphere but is otherwise identical to optical quality. If a Quartz sphere has anything more than very slight flaws, its ability to balance your physical, emotional, and mental bodies will be significantly inhibited.

Therapeutic Quartz also has no hint of yellow, gray, brown, or smoky coloration. Color contamination and internal flaws greatly limit the spheres’ inflow and outflow of energy.

People who wear lower-quality Quartz may still feel some effects, since any gemstone will influence an individual's energetic field. However, only the highest quality Quartz necklace—one with deeply frosted, optical or near-optical quality spheres and precisely cut drill holes—will spark the true changes and transformations one seeks from this gemstone. Optical-quality Quartz is extremely rare. Yet it is well worth seeking out, since a necklace made of such Quartz radiates an incomparable energy.
