Wear It Around Your Neck
In addition to wearing a Pink Tourmaline stone around your neck, you can experience its benefits simply by keeping it in your energetic field. Wear it around your neck, keep in your pocket, or keep it near you.
Each Pink Tourmaline stone comes sewn into a 100-percent cotton crochet pouch pendant. The pouch protects the gem and allows you to wear it around your neck. When worn, the gem will fall in the general area of the heart.
Cleansing Pink Tourmaline Stones
To cleanse a Pink Tourmaline stone, use any of the methods appropriate for cleansing Pink Tourmaline. The only exception is the hot-and-cold water rinse, since the hot water may adversely affect the cotton pouch. To cleanse the gem, you can place it in a healthy houseplant; or you can lay it on a half-inch layer of table salt in a bowl. You may also lay the gem in direct sunlight for 20 minutes once a week.
The cotton pouch and its gem can be gently hand-washed with cold water and mild soap. After rinsing, blot the remaining water with a soft towel and then lay the pouch flat to dry.
