True Self

True Self helps you become more comfortable with yourself and more confident in your own abilities and expressions. It encourages you to evaluate, process, and resolve myriad issues associated with inner harmony and outer expression. This necklace consists of fourteen sections of gemstones, each containing seven Lavender spheres, one Lapis Lazuli cylinder, and two gold beads.

The number seven plays a key role in the True Self necklace. True Self focuses on the aspect of the mind that resonates with the energy of the number seven. This aspect analyzes input and then directs other areas of the mind to act on this analysis.

Lapis Lazuli works to connect the heart and mind. This connection brings a certain comfort, from which a true confidence in yourself and your abilities can flourish. When you wear a solid necklace of Lapis, this process occurs primarily physically: the heart and mind find harmony from a physical point of view. In True Self, the Lavender brings these effects deep into your aura and directly to your mental and emotional aspects, fostering a deeper and more encompassing harmony between your heart and mind.

True Self is most effective when worn along with a solid necklace of Lapis. When you wear a solid Lapis necklace, the Lapis identifies and highlights all the significant power points in your body, including your acupuncture points and chakras. The Lapis cylinders in True Self hurl their energy horizontally around your body, creating a sheath of Lapis energy. The Lavender works with the Lapis to align these power points, not only in your physical body, but in your inner aspects as well. It is through these aligned points that Lavender brings Lapis’ harmonizing effects directly to your mind and emotions.

When wearing the True Self necklace, you may experience a fair amount of processing, both conscious and unconscious. This processing is your body's recognition, evaluation, and resolution of all types of issues associated with heart/mind harmony and communication. Shining with Inner Light

True Self offers a curious but enjoyable side effect. The alignment initiated by Lavender allows a flow of healing light to move more freely throughout the mind, emotions, and physical body. People who wear this necklace seem to shine with this light. The Lapis in True Self concentrates the Lavender's effects on the heart and the mind, areas we perceive first when we interact with someone. Although wearing a solid necklace of Lavender has a similar effect, it may be less striking, since Lavender affects all aspects of one’s being relatively equally.

Component Size

Because of the small size of its components, True Self is a delicate-looking necklace. This delicacy is a key to its effectiveness. If True Self were designed with larger gemstones, it would not be as effective. A subtle, delicate approach in a gemstone necklace is sometimes required to resonate with the subtler aspects of being, and work on subtle levels is often most powerful.

The best way to experience the therapeutic effects of a True Self necklace is to wear it around your neck and is most effective when worn along with a solid necklace of Lapis Lazuli. The solid Lapis necklace will identify and highlight all the significant power points in your body, including your acupuncture points and chakras (see the Benefits tab for more details).

Time Guidelines

If you wear True Self with a solid necklace of Lapis Lazuli, it is best to wear both necklaces (or keep them within three feet of your body) for at least one week. If you wear True Self by itself, it is best to wear it or keep it near you for at least three weeks.

Making True Self Yours

True Self should become the personal tool of only one person. The longer it is worn, the more in tune it grows with the one who wears it.

Cleanse True Self Regularly

To maintain their effectiveness, therapeutic gemstones need regular care. As the gems help us release energetic impurities, some of these energies cling to the gems’ surface and inhibit their ability to work at their peak capacity. A simple energetic cleansing will clear these energies and restore the gems to their naturally vibrant state. You can use any of following methods to cleanse your True Self necklace. Learn more about these methods.

Plant Rejuvenation: 2 – 3 times a week, wrap the necklace around the base of a healthy houseplant or lay the necklace in its branches.

Salt Bed: 2 – 3 times a week, lay the gems in a half-inch of salt for at least an hour or overnight. Place a thin natural-fiber cloth between the salt and the gems.

Sunbath: Every 1 - 2 weeks, lay the gems in sunlight for a maximum of 20 minutes at a time.

Special Notes: Avoid rinsing and clay cleansing, which will dull Lapis Lazuli’s polish.

Store the necklace separately to protect the Lapis Lazuli, which is a relatively soft gem.

When you put on a new necklace or one you haven’t worn for a while, bring it into your aura with consciousness and a clear intent. Therapeutic Quality True Self

True Self necklaces contain Lapis Lazuli cylinders and Lavender spheres.

Lapis Lazuli

Lapis Lazuli’s therapeutic effectiveness depends on the character of its color and the amount of pyrite it contains. The richer and deeper its royal blue color and the less white it contains, the more powerful the Lapis is. Therapeutic Lapis contains a substantial amount of golden pyrite flecks but not to the point of overpowering the blue areas.

Lapis occurs in a wide continuum of quality, and the very finest quality is quite rare. Lower-quality Lapis is usually dyed to enhance its color and make it seem higher in quality. Unfortunately, any dye applied to Lapis Lazuli clogs its pores and renders it non-therapeutic.

Lavender

The Lavender gemstone is a derivative of colorless Quartz. Yet, unlike Quartz, the finest therapeutic Lavender is not optical in quality. Rather, it contains three elements, all of which are present in the same sphere: lavender color, translucency, and patches of cloudy white or light lavender color. Each therapeutic Lavender sphere exhibits a unique combination of the three essential elements. They work together to fulfill Lavender’s mission and produce its effects.

Lavender Color: The lavender color defines the Lavender gemstone’s mission. The energy of the color lavender has an affinity with the higher levels of our mental, emotional, and even physical bodies. When each of these bodies is stimulated with the energy of lavender, the body awakens to its relationship with the next highest body, inspiring alignment and cooperation among them all.

Translucency: The translucency in the gemstone clears the path for Lavender’s energy to do its work. Without translucency, Lavender’s work slows down drastically. Although non-translucent Lavender can generate the necessary changes, its path through the physical and subtle bodies is greatly hindered.

Cloudy Patches: The patches of cloudy white or light lavender color act as regulatory components by encouraging alignment to unfold in a balanced way. Without these patches, Lavender promotes alignment without attending to the need for change to occur in a balanced, gradual fashion. The cloudy aspect also helps the physical body to regain its balance more swiftly after taking a step toward greater alignment.

Optical-quality Lavender, which is completely translucent and contains no cloudy white or light lavender patches, will bring about alignment at the greatest possible speed. In the hands of an experienced gem therapist who knows how and when to use such a strong force, it is an invaluable tool. However, to prevent the physical body from reacting negatively to such a forced alignment, optical Lavender should be worn only for very short periods.

The finest quality Lavender is free of contaminants. Black flecks, a brown or green tinge, or any foreign matter that muddies the lavender color lowers the quality of Lavender’s energy and diminishes its therapeutic effects. The energy of such Lavender cannot reach into the higher vibratory levels of the wearer’s being. While small splashes or pockets of purple coloring enhance Lavender’s effects, large or numerous dark purple splashes or any coloring that makes the sphere look like Amethyst are contaminants. Such spheres do not support Lavender’s mission. The finest therapeutic quality Lavender is extremely rare.
