Therapeutic Quality Master Healer
Master Healer necklaces contain Tanzanite, Lavender, and Sugilite.
Tanzanite
An exceptionally rare gemstone, Tanzanite is currently found in only one place on Earth, in a six-kilometer area in Tanzania, near Mount Kilimanjaro. Tanzanite crystals are strongly pleochroic, which means that they display two different colors—in this case, blue and purple—depending on the angle you’re viewing the gemstones from. Tanzanite’s appearance is also sensitive to lighting: cool, fluorescent lighting will bring out Tanzanite’s blue tones, while warm incandescent lighting will make the same gems appear more violet.
Gemisphere’s therapeutic-quality Tanzanite is a vibrant blend of blue and purple. Tanzanite that is dull, occluded, or poorly cut will not deliver this gemstone’s powerful therapeutic effects. Gemisphere’s Tanzanite displays excellent clarity and vivid color.
More than 99% of the Tanzanite that emerges from its small patch on Earth has not yet undergone the slow geologic heating that produces the gem’s blue-and violet color. For this reason, unlike most of the gemstones offered by Gemisphere, our therapeutic-quality Tanzanite is heated after it has been harvested from the Earth. This heat treatment accelerates the gem’s natural maturing process and allows us to enjoy the benefits of this still-developing gem. Over time, as Tanzanite evolves into the new gemstone carrier of the purple ray, more and more of the Tanzanite in the Earth will take on its characteristic blue-violet color.
Lavender
The Lavender gemstone is a derivative of colorless Quartz. Yet, unlike Quartz, the finest therapeutic Lavender is not optical in quality. Rather, it contains three elements, all of which are present in the same sphere: lavender color, translucency, and patches of cloudy white or light lavender color. Each therapeutic Lavender sphere exhibits a unique combination of the three essential elements. They work together to fulfill Lavender’s mission and produce its effects.
Lavender Color: The lavender color defines the Lavender gemstone’s mission. The energy of the color lavender has an affinity with the higher levels of our mental, emotional, and even physical bodies. When each of these bodies is stimulated with the energy of lavender, the body awakens to its relationship with the next highest body, inspiring alignment and cooperation among them all.
Translucency: The translucency in the gemstone clears the path for Lavender’s energy to do its work. Without translucency, Lavender’s work slows down drastically. Although non-translucent Lavender can generate the necessary changes, its path through the physical and subtle bodies is greatly hindered.
Cloudy Patches: The patches of cloudy white or light lavender color act as regulatory components by encouraging alignment to unfold in a balanced way. Without these patches, Lavender promotes alignment without attending to the need for change to occur in a balanced, gradual fashion. The cloudy aspect also helps the physical body to regain its balance more swiftly after taking a step toward greater alignment.
Optical-quality Lavender, which is completely translucent and contains no cloudy white or light lavender patches, will bring about alignment at the greatest possible speed. In the hands of an experienced gem therapist who knows how and when to use such a strong force, it is an invaluable tool. However, to prevent the physical body from reacting negatively to such a forced alignment, optical Lavender should be worn only for very short periods.
The finest quality Lavender is free of contaminants. Black flecks, a brown or green tinge, or any foreign matter that muddies the lavender color lowers the quality of Lavender’s energy and diminishes its therapeutic effects. The energy of such Lavender cannot reach into the higher vibratory levels of the wearer’s being. While small splashes or pockets of purple coloring enhance Lavender’s effects, large or numerous dark purple splashes or any coloring that makes the sphere look like Amethyst are contaminants. Such spheres do not support Lavender’s mission. The finest therapeutic quality Lavender is extremely rare.
Sugilite
Sugilite is a very rare purple earthstone. Its purple color ranges from light to dark and from true purple to magenta, with all shades and variations in between. Sugilite’s color is most accurately seen outdoors or in direct sunlight.
In the Earth, Sugilite develops in proximity to other minerals, which are then commonly found in Sugilite beads. Two of these minerals—one black and one white—are beneficial and work synergistically with the Sugilite. They give each Sugilite bead a unique appearance and pattern of color. In some cases, the black mineral deepens and darkens the purple, and the white mineral lightens the purple color to lavender. In other cases, the black and white minerals appear as distinct patches and give the bead a mottled appearance. In still other cases, the black and white minerals mix to appear gray to the naked eye.
Other colored minerals are also commonly found in Sugilite beads. These minerals appear as areas of colorless translucency or silver. The influence of the colorless translucent material is neutral; it neither supports nor inhibits Sugilite’s effects. Any patches of metallic-silver color renders the bead non-therapeutic (these metallic-looking patches appear distinctly different from the gray areas described above). Gemisphere’s Sugilite necklaces contain no metallic-silver areas.
An overall maroon-brown appearance in a Sugilite necklace is not harmful but diminishes the necklace’s therapeutic effects. These necklaces can still be therapeutic in quality but are at the lower end of the therapeutic-quality scale.
To be therapeutic, each Sugilite necklace must possess a consistent hue and pattern of coloration overall. Because of the need for consistency, plus the wide-ranging diversity of Sugilite’s appearance, creating a therapeutic necklace is challenging. For this reason, each Gemisphere Sugilite necklace is special and entirely unique.
Translucent Sugilite: An extremely rare form of Sugilite is pure purple and appears translucent when held up to a light source. It is often referred to as “gel” or “jelly” Sugilite. This type of Sugilite can draw out the greatest range of unwanted energies both in the physical and subtle bodies. At this time, necklaces made entirely of gel Sugilite are nearly impossible to obtain. However, the highest quality Gemisphere necklaces contain areas or entire beads of gel Sugilite, which appears in these necklaces either as a distinct translucency or as a crystalline sheen.
Spherical Shape: Because of the relatively soft nature of Sugilite, and the varying densities of the harder black and white minerals that may be mixed within it, gem cutters have difficulty forming Sugilite into perfect spheres. Gemisphere’s Sugilite is clearly spherical and carefully polished, but on closer inspection you may find a few beads that are not impeccably round. These slight variations in shape do not detract from their therapeutic value.
