FAQ: Fraudulent COD Deliveries in India

We have recently received reports of fraudulent packages being delivered in India using the name Gemisphere. These shipments are not associated with our company. We are actively reporting this misuse to the logistics providers and appropriate authorities and are working to stop it as quickly as possible.

Gemisphere is a U.S.-based company. We ship only from the United States and never use Cash on Delivery (COD).

Are these packages from Gemisphere?

No. These shipments are not from us. Someone is using our company name without authorization.

Does Gemisphere ship internationally from India or use COD?

No. All Gemisphere orders ship from the United States via UPS, USPS, or DHL. We do not ship Cash on Delivery orders under any circumstances.

What products does Gemisphere sell?

Gemisphere specializes in therapeutic-grade gemstone necklaces and related educational materials. We do not sell inexpensive fashion jewelry, and we do not sell any form of earrings, which have been the most commonly reported items in these fraudulent parcels.

What should I do if I received one of these packages?

We recommend reporting the shipment to the courier that delivered the parcel and filing a report with your local cybercrime authorities. In India, reports can be filed at https://cybercrime.gov.in. This helps authorities identify and stop the seller responsible for the fraudulent deliveries.

Can I share information with Gemisphere to help?

Yes. If you are willing, you may email us the tracking number, courier name, photos of the parcel label, and any phone numbers or emails that claimed to be from customer service. We are compiling this information to provide to carriers and investigators.

Is my personal information or order history with Gemisphere affected?

No. These shipments are not connected to our order system or customer database. This appears to be an unauthorized use of our company name only. If you have been affected and choose to send us parcel information for us to submit, when filing your report, please omit any personal information including your full name, home address, phone number, or any other personal identifiers to further ensure the protection of your privacy.
