Time Guidelines

Golden Phoenix can be worn continuously. However, it is always wise to be sensitive to your body’s responses. If you start to feel a headache or significant discomfort, take the necklace off for a while. Then allow your body time to adjust to the changes initiated by the gems by wearing them for only an hour or two a day. Gradually increase this time until you can comfortably wear the gems for as long and often as you wish.

Cleanse Golden Phoenix Regularly

To maintain their effectiveness, therapeutic gemstones need regular care. As the gems help us release energetic impurities, some of these energies cling to the gems’ surface and inhibit their ability to work at their peak capacity. A simple energetic cleansing will clear these energies and restore the gems to their naturally vibrant state. Plant Rejuvenation: Every day of wear, wrap the necklace around the base of a healthy houseplant or lay the necklace in its branches.

Salt Bed:  Alternatively, every day of wear, lay the gems in a half-inch of sea salt for at least an hour or overnight. Place a thin natural-fiber cloth between the salt and the gems.

Sunbath: Every 2 - 3 weeks, lay the gems in sunlight for a maximum of 10 minutes at a time.

Special Notes: Avoid rinsing and clay cleansing, which may dull the Lapis Lazuli’s polish.

Therapeutic Quality Golden Phoenix

Golden Phoenix contains therapeutic-quality Golden Beryl and Lapis Lazuli.

Golden Beryl

The color of therapeutic-quality Golden Beryl ranges from golden-yellow to a rich golden hue, with no tint of amber or brown. The deeper the color, the stronger are the gems’ energy and therapeutic effects.

Because Golden Beryl does not directly affect the physical or emotional bodies, its therapeutic-quality requirements are somewhat different from many other gemstones. The color and clarity should allow the gems’ energies to reach the causal body as quickly and easily as possible. Golden Beryl with a rich golden color can support minor inclusions, or flaws, because they tend not to hinder the gems’ ability to radiate into the causal body. Because lighter-colored Golden Beryl isn’t as strong, it must be freer from inclusions.

Very tiny cracks are acceptable in Golden Beryl, as long as the color is good; they will simply deflect the gem’s light in a slightly different direction. However, therapeutic Golden Beryl contains no black spots, which act as voids and cancel out the gem’s energy wherever they are present.

Gemisphere’s Golden Beryl meets or exceeds all therapeutic-quality requirements. It is completely natural and entirely free of any treatments that would artificially enhance its color or clarity and thus render the gems nontherapeutic.

Lapis Lazuli

Lapis Lazuli’s therapeutic effectiveness depends on the character of its color and the amount of pyrite it contains. The richer and deeper its royal blue color and the less white it contains, the more powerful the Lapis is. Therapeutic Lapis contains a substantial amount of golden pyrite flecks but not to the point of overpowering the blue areas.

Lapis occurs in a wide continuum of quality, and the very finest quality is quite rare. Lower-quality Lapis is usually dyed to enhance its color and make it seem higher in quality. Unfortunately, any dye applied to Lapis Lazuli clogs its pores and renders it non-therapeutic.
