The mind is vast, complex, and comprised of many levels, or areas. Each of these levels has a different function, and each resonates with a different number—namely, three, five, seven, nine, and eleven. Because of Blue Sapphire’s mission regarding the mind, when Sapphire is worn as a solid necklace, it affects all these levels. Angelfire’s design is based on the number eleven. Wear It Around Your Neck

The best way to experience the therapeutic effects of an Angelfire necklace is to wear it around your neck. There the gems will silently work for you as you go about your day. At night while you are sleeping, you can wear the necklace or keep it within three feet of your body to maintain your connection with the gems. 

Time Guidelines

Angelfire can be worn continuously. However, it is always wise to be sensitive to your body’s responses. If you start to feel a headache or significant discomfort, take the necklace off for a while. Then allow your body time to adjust to the changes initiated by the gems by wearing them for only an hour or two a day. Gradually increase this time until you can comfortably wear the gems for as long and often as you wish.

Cleanse Angelfire Regularly

To maintain their effectiveness, therapeutic gemstones need regular care. As the gems help us release energetic impurities, some of these energies cling to the gems’ surface and inhibit their ability to work at their peak capacity. A simple energetic cleansing will clear these energies and restore the gems to their naturally vibrant state. You can use any of following methods to cleanse your Angelfire necklace. Plant Rejuvenation: 2 – 3 times a week, wrap the necklace around the base of a healthy houseplant or lay the necklace in its branches.

Salt Bed: 2 – 3 times a week, lay the gems in a half-inch of sea salt for at least an hour or overnight. Place a thin natural-fiber cloth between the salt and the gems.

Sunbath: Every 1 - 2 weeks, lay in sunlight for a maximum of 5 minutes at a time.

Special Notes:

Avoid rinsing and clay cleansing, which will dull the Coral’s polish.

Store the necklace separately to protect the Coral, which is a somewhat soft gem.

Therapeutic Quality Angelfire

Angelfire necklaces contain therapeutic-quality Blue Sapphire and White Coral.

Not all Blue Sapphire is pure enough to emanate the energy required to produce Blue Sapphire's therapeutic effects. Blue Sapphire that is itself filled with flaws, contaminants, and impurities cannot be expected to clear impurities from the mind and head.

Four primary factors determine Blue Sapphire quality: color, clarity, consistency, and a trait called gem candescence.

An accurate assessment of Blue Sapphire’s color and clarity requires a microscope. Ideal Sapphire is a rich, true blue—neither too pale nor too indigo. Only a microscope, which allows you to see how light passes through the gemstone, can reveal Blue Sapphire's true color. A microscope also lets you see whether the gem contains even the slightest black tinge. This is essential, because any black coloration is a severe contaminant that nullifies all of Blue Sapphire's effects. Even a wisp of black renders Blue Sapphire non-therapeutic.

The greater its clarity, the more energy a Blue Sapphire can radiate. Common inclusions found in Blue Sapphire are impurities, such as rock matrix, white clouds, and a toxic yellow discoloration that renders the Sapphire non-therapeutic.

Consistency is also an important element in a therapeutic Blue Sapphire necklace. Inconsistency in the color, clarity, or size of spheres within a necklace creates a distraction, which the Blue Sapphire energy must first overcome before it can do its work. This is one reason why most Blue Sapphire necklaces are not therapeutic or are much less therapeutic than their other quality parameters might indicate.

Gem candescence is an optical quality possessed by some Blue Sapphire. A bead displaying gem candescence looks like a drop of liquid Blue Sapphire. In the Sapphire in which it is found, gem candescence is an intense outpouring of the blue ray, making the Sapphire look like its own source of pure blue light. Its liquid appearance is an energetic quality that allows the Sapphire energy to access the mind instantly. All other factors being equal, gem-candescent Blue Sapphire is many times more powerful than Blue Sapphire without gem candescence.
