Wear It Around Your Neck

One of the most powerful and convenient ways to use an Apatite Purity necklace is to wear it around your neck. There the gems will silently work for you as you go about your day. At night while you are sleeping, you can wear the necklace or keep it within three feet of your body to maintain your connection with the gems.  

Because Apatite is a soft and fragile gemstone, it can fracture easily unless it is given special care. To minimize the micro-abrasions caused by the gems rubbing against clothing, wear a necklace containing Apatite against your skin. Handle it gently at all times, and avoid laying it on hard surfaces. Because of the softness of this special gem, over time and with wear, its surface polish will tend to dull. Although minor dulling will have minimal impact on the gems’ therapeutic value, significant dulling will dampen its therapeutic effectiveness.

Time Guidelines

Apatite Purity can be worn continuously. However, it is always wise to be sensitive to your body’s responses. When you wear an Apatite Purity necklace, the energies of healing and purification most often enter through the brow chakra and move downward through the body. This effect can be very strong in some people. If you experience too much energy flow in or through your head, start out wearing the necklace for only a few minutes to an hour at a time. Gradually increase this time until you can comfortably wear the gems for as long and often as you wish.

Cleanse Apatite Purity Regularly

To maintain their effectiveness, therapeutic gemstones need regular care. As the gems help us release energetic impurities, some of these energies cling to the gems’ surface and inhibit their ability to work at their peak capacity. A simple energetic cleansing will clear these energies and restore the gems to their naturally vibrant state. You can use any of the following methods to cleanse your Apatite Purity necklace. Plant Rejuvenation: 2 – 3 times a week, wrap the necklace around the base of a healthy houseplant or lay the necklace in its branches.

Salt Bed: 2 – 3 times a week, lay the gems in a half-inch of salt for at least an hour or overnight. Place a thin natural-fiber cloth between the salt and the gems.

Special Notes: Avoid rinsing, which will dull Sodalight’s polish.

Avoid clay cleansing, which will dull the polish of both Sodalight and Apatite.

Avoid cleansing in direct sunlight. Although wearing White Flash Moonstone in sunlight will do it no harm, cleansing it in sunlight is not recommended. If your Apatite Purity necklace is exposed to direct sunlight while you are not wearing it, to replenish it place it outside on the ground under dense foliage and cover it with a cloth to protect it further from the sunshine, or lay it on the ground at night. Leave it there for at least an hour.

When you put on a new necklace or one you haven’t worn for a while, bring it into your aura with consciousness and a clear intent. Therapeutic Quality Apatite Purity

Apatite Purity contains Sodalight, Apatite, and White Flash Moonstone.

Sodalight

Therapeutic quality Sodalight spheres are a deep, rich blue, with relatively consistent color throughout the entire sphere. When the highest-quality Sodalight is first fashioned into spheres, it has only a faint suggestion of white streaks or clouds. If more than 10 percent of the sphere’s surface is white, its therapeutic effectiveness is diminished.

Therapeutic Sodalight may also have tiny—sometimes microscopic—pinpoints of various other colors, such as black, gold, orange, and silver. Sodalight's nature is to purify the human aura and body by absorbing energies that do not fit its wearer’s overall vibratory picture. A moderate amount of these additional colors, or elements, allows the Sodalight to respond to a wider spectrum of these energies. However, if these colors cover more than five percent of the sphere’s surface, the sphere will lack the ideal proportion of essential and nonessential Sodalight components, rendering it non-therapeutic.

High-quality Sodalight may display its crystalline nature as reflective facets of dark blue or black. If the Sodalight is somewhat translucent, the facets may appear to be contained inside the sphere. Therapeutic Sodalight should not be so transparent or gem-like as to encroach on the properties of Indigo.

Sodalight is yet another gemstone that is commonly dyed. Dye hides any white streaks or clouds and prevents the Sodalight from expressing its healing energy. It also clogs the stone’s pores and thus inhibits its ability to absorb disharmony. Consequently, Sodalight that contains any dye is non-therapeutic. Gemisphere uses only non-dyed Sodalight.

Apatite

To be therapeutic, Apatite should demonstrate brightness, good clarity, a sense of lightness, and a strong magnetic feel. Exceptionally high-quality Apatite also displays gem candescence, an optical quality that makes the gems appear like liquid drops of blue-green light. All other factors being equal, gem-candescent Apatite is more effective in the subtle bodies than Apatite without gem candescence.

Because Apatite is such a soft mineral, small cracks and inclusions can cause the beads to break much more easily than most gemstones. The fewer the inclusions in Apatite, the more effective its work will be, and the less prone the gems will be to breakage.

Because of Apatite’s softness, nearly all the Apatite available on the market today has been treated with an epoxy resin to “stabilize,” or harden, it. This treatment either inhibits the Apatite’s therapeutic effects or renders the Apatite entirely non-therapeutic. Gemisphere uses only untreated Apatite with no epoxy resin treatment.

Our Apatite rondels are cut from high quality crystals usually reserved for making faceted gems. To ensure our Apatite’s superior therapeutic value, we obtain the gemstones in rough form and then have the rondels cut to our unique specifications. White Flash Moonstone

Therapeutic-quality White Flash Moonstone is milky-white and can vary in its degree of translucency. Therapeutic Moonstone displays an optical quality called adularescence—that is, a shimmery flash of white or, in very rare cases, blue. Almost every bead in a therapeutic Moonstone necklace should have a distinct flash. The more surface area the flash covers, the more potent the gem is. For the best view of its flash, hold your Moonstone in sunlight.

Cracks and inclusions hinder Moonstone’s effectiveness and should be either absent or very minimal. Black or other colored opaque spots void Moonstone’s energy in an area many times the size of the spot itself. A necklace with many spots might even be harmful to the wearer’s supraphysical fabric.
