One of the most powerful and convenient ways to use a Golden Beryl necklace is to wear it around your neck. There the gems will silently work for you as you go about your day. At night while you are sleeping, you can wear the necklace or keep it within three feet of your body to maintain your connection with the gems. 

Keeping a Journal

Keeping a journal of your experiences and new insights while wearing Golden Beryl will help you remember them. Referring to these insights each time you add something new will hasten your causal body growth and development.

If you keep a journal, you may also find it interesting to experiment with wearing the necklace for different durations. Choose a length of time to wear it, and then do so for a cycle of three. For example, if you want to wear it for an hour, do so for three days. Then, if you want to then wear it for two hours, do that for three days, and so on.

Time Guidelines

You can wear Golden Beryl as long and often as you like. For noticeable results, wear it for at least an hour a day. This should be enough time to start observing changes in the way you perceive time. If you wish to experience Golden Beryl’s energy continuously, you can wear it or keep it near you, such as under your pillow, when you sleep.

Nonetheless, it is always wise to be sensitive to your body’s responses. If you start to feel a headache or significant discomfort, take the necklace off for a while. Then allow your body time to adjust to the changes initiated by the gems by wearing them for only an hour or two a day. Gradually increase this time until you can comfortably wear the gems for as long and often as you wish.

Cleanse Golden Beryl Regularly

To maintain their effectiveness, therapeutic gemstones need regular care. As the gems help us release energetic impurities, some of these energies cling to the gems’ surface and inhibit their ability to work at their peak capacity. A simple energetic cleansing will clear these energies and restore the gems to their naturally vibrant state. You can use any of following methods to cleanse your Golden Beryl necklace. Plant Rejuvenation: Every day of wear, wrap the necklace around the base of a healthy houseplant or lay the necklace in its branches.

Salt Bed:  Alternatively, every day of wear, lay the gems in a half-inch of sea salt for at least an hour or overnight. Place a thin natural-fiber cloth between the salt and the gems.

Water Rinse: Rinse the gems in alternating warm and cool water 2 – 3 times a week. Avoid using hot or cold water.

Sunbath: Every 2 - 3 weeks, lay the gems in sunlight for a maximum of 10 minutes at a time.

Special Note: Avoid clay cleansing, which may dull the Golden Beryl’s polish.

Therapeutic Quality Golden Beryl

The color of therapeutic-quality Golden Beryl ranges from golden-yellow to a rich golden hue, with no tint of amber or brown. The deeper the color, the stronger are the gems’ energy and therapeutic effects.

Because Golden Beryl does not directly affect the physical or emotional bodies, its therapeutic-quality requirements are somewhat different from many other gemstones. The color and clarity should allow the gems’ energies to reach the causal body as quickly and easily as possible. Golden Beryl with a rich golden color can support minor inclusions, or flaws, because they tend not to hinder the gems’ ability to radiate into the causal body. Because lighter-colored Golden Beryl isn’t as strong, it must be freer from inclusions.

Very tiny cracks are acceptable in Golden Beryl, as long as the color is good; they will simply deflect the gem’s light in a slightly different direction. However, therapeutic Golden Beryl contains no black spots, which act as voids and cancel out the gem’s energy wherever they are present.
